Lawrence D. McCoy, age 79, of Monmouth, passed away at 7:40 p.m. on Dec. 22, 2011 at the Care Center of Abingdon.  Lawrence was born September 22, 1932 in rural Alexis and was the son of Lawrence Elmer and Edith Glass McCoy.  He was raised in Warren County and attended Chattanooga rural school.
