`Garden Tractor Loaders`

A garden tractor loader is a front-mounted bucket that can be raised, lowered, and tilted forward and backward hydraulically.

Garden Tractor Loaders For Machinery Operations

Garden tractor loaders can be forced into the digging by forward motion of the tractor and retracted and swung by backing and steering the tractor. Garden tractor loaders can be used for heavy machinery operations for loading trucks, digging basements, and doing bulldozer work. They can also transport material over moderate distances.

Building Garden Tractor Loaders

Garden tractor loaders can be built in-house, complete with steel and hydraulics. It is also possible to use the garden tractor’s on-board hydraulic system to power the loader. The garden tractor loaders can also be connected with the dash mounted control levers on the garden tractor.

The loader assembly may be a removable attachment or permanently mounted. Removable garden tractor loaders are more common so that it can be detached and replaced with other devices or tools when necessary.

Mounting Garden Tractor Loaders

A Loader can be mounted on any tractor that has a strong enough frame and front end to handle the weight of a loader. The tractor should have a thick twin rail frame running the length of the tractor and a cast iron front axle with strong front spindles and bearings in front rims.

A garden tractor loader requires at least 10 HP engine to operate. Hydrostatic transmissions are preferred because they transfer power more smoothly to the ground which saves stress on major drive line.
